Your journey all starts with the basic veteran desire to travel Back to the War Zone. Determining the reason why is the first step in determining those who will receive financial support for the journey, from those who must pay their own way.
Those wishing to simply relive their youth or to travel to somewhere different are not who we are here to serve. Our target returnees are only those veterans who continue to suffer from the torment of PTSD and truly will benefit from such a journey.
To determine those who truly qualify, the following determining factors apply:
- Veteran returnees must have served in a foreign combat zone during conflict.
- Veteran returnees must have a PTSD gaf score rating of 50 or under.
- Veterans who are not rated so by the V.A. must submit to a CVAC mental evaluation at their cost.
- Veteran returnees must submit to a financial evaluation to determine their inability to afford to pay the cost on their own.
- Veteran returnees must be deemed fit to participate in such a journey by our team of trained CVAC professionals.
Family members, friends and combat unit members are welcomed to join the veteran’s journey Back to the War Zone but must be able to afford the cost on their own.
In order to keep down the costs per veteran, we are currently restricted to a minimum of 10 travelers per area tour. Individual returnees traveling alone may join other groups to the same area of combat operations.
All returnees must adhere to all BWZ, vendor and destination laws, rules, guidelines, restrictions, schedules, accommodations and itineraries.

Standard tours are estimated at
7 nights and 8 days.
Our tours require a minimum of “3 Star” rated hotel accommodations whenever possible.
Because of limited time constraints, all veterans traveling to same war zones are required to submit detailed tour request forms signed by all participating travelers three months prior to departure.
Please contact your local BWZ tour director for details regarding your particular war zone destination and for all applicable regulations.
Currently we are able to return Veterans to the following
War Zones:
Korea
Vietnam
Granada
Panama
Lebanon
Additional war zones not listed can be requested and will be accommodated based upon availability, costs and
restrictions involved.
